Joe Cavallaro

Joe is Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist. His practice Full Spectrum Physical Therapy & Performance was born out of the need to help patients spend less time in the rehab clinic and to focus on bridging the gap between rehab and a full return to duty or sport.
Joshua Stuart-Shor
Fire Lieutenant
Josh is a Fire Lieutenant currently assigned to Engine 42. Prior to joining the BFD, he has over 15 years’ experience in the Human Performance field, both as a lead instructor for O2X and as a practitioner at the US Army Special Forces' Tactical Human Optimization, Rapid Rehabilitation & Reconditioning Program (THOR3). Josh believes that we owe it to our crew and the city we protect to do everything we can to prepare for the day that no one wants to come.
Chloe Schweinshaut
RD, LDN, CLT
Chloe is a registered dietitian nutritionist who owns a private practice, Riverside Nutrition with a particular focus on helping first responders. She has worked with members of the Boston Fire Department, New York Fire Department, Cambridge Fire Department, Boston Police Department and other tactical athlete groups to help them lead a healthier lifestyle.
Beau Claiborne
Fire Lieutenant
Beau is a 30 year veteran with the BFD, presently serving as a Fire Lieutenant at Engine Co. 17. From 2011 - 2022, he co-owned and operated CrossFit Florian in Norwood, Ma. He has 10 years of experience creating Strength & Conditioning programs and running various challenges. With a functional fitness bias, he believes a large portion of firefighter-related injuries can be avoided with proper nutrition, activity and recovery.
